where the wild west comes aliveWyatt Earp(March 19, 1848 - January 13, 1929)
One of the most chronicled characters of the Old West, many people find him an interesting and pivotal person of western history. He was, however, a self-centered and braggadocio person (my opinion). There are western history lawmen whose life and careers were much more interesting. Wyatt Earp would have been merely a footnote in western history if not for a brief gunfight brought on by a domineering attitude toward all people. I'm (here comes another opinion) tired of all the attention Wyatt Earp attracts via movies, TV shows and books.
